I recently integrated Admob into an app that I published on Google Play. This was my fisrts time putting admob ads into one of my apps. My question is can you publish apps to the amazon appstore that have admob ads in them? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can technically, but the ecpm may not be that good. Because most of the appstore ads on Admob will be for the Play Store most likely, so there's no way you can get paid for an install there if the device only has the Amazon app store and no access to the GP store. In my experience it's still not bad ecpm though because a lot of devices with the Amazon Store also have the GP store. And also because a lot of the Admob ads are not even for app downloads, lot's of them are for local stores and all sorts of other things.

Hi there!

Talking about Admob.. is there a way to improve results for utility apps? I mean.. maybe blocking some categories or adding others. If anyonw can help on this matter , I will thank forever!

You can do this. Just go to the Admob dashboard --> Monetize Tab --> and on the lefthand side all of your apps should be listed. Just click the app and you should see Allow/Block ads and from there you can filter categories.

Yeah you can do like J53 says. It will show you which categories have been getting what percentage of impressions and what percentage of earnings also. You can use this data to try to find the better categories maybe? I've tried it a little, blocking some of the categories that give a lower ratio of earnings to impressions, but it didn't help my ecpm much, so I just turned all of them back on.

Awesome! Thanks a lot XdebugX & J53! I'm totally new with Admob and I still don't know it very well. Totally different form Applovin or Chartboost hahaa...
