I woke up this morning to find that one my apps was rejected for reason 2.25

Your app displays apps, other than your own, for purchase or promotion. This is not in compliance with theApp Store Review Guidelines.

Specifically, your app contains a section that includes 3rd-party apps from other developers. The attached screenshot has been provided to help show this issue.

It would be appropriate to remove this feature from your app to be in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? How did you fix it.

hey Salus. yeah i had heard about this a few weeks ago. Apple doesn't allow you to use a 'more games' button that shows games other than your own. But you can still show the chartboost full screen ads no problem. I think it's apples attempt to stop developers buying their way up the charts so easily.

One way to get around this is to submit the game with the 'more games' button but just add your own games, so when the user taps on them it will show your app developer page. Then after it is approved you can update the 'more games' button inside chartboost to show other games. I've not tried this but I did hear from some other devs that it is possible.
But bear in mind though that apple are quite strict sometimes and pretty clever when it comes to this stuff so maybe don't take the chance. Let me know what you think.

I decided to take that approach as googling it has shown many people have done that to get past the review process. The app is now back in review so i will update if it worked.

The app passed the review, reactivated the ads. Will let you guys know/warn if any issues come from it.

Yeap still works completely fine. I put another app through with chartboost without problems by doing this.
