Hi All,

I'd like to ask experience members if you have noticed any new rules or process in Apple approval in Slots casino games?

Thanks, Pedro

It should be no problem. We launched a slots game years ago and there's plenty on the store. Just make sure you don't make it look like the player will win real money. So say 'gold coins' instead of '$'.

Hi Martin, yes you are right thank you for great advice. Didn't thought about this before.

I'm just asking because we have heard rumors, that Apple is doing store "clean up" and not approving new slots games to the store since there is millions slots re-skins in the store.

Any other advice, pls? Maybe someone ho recently published slots game for iOS, please?
Thanks, Pedro

Hi PedroPrdko!

Yes... Apple is cleaning up their store. I just got 3 emails from them to update my old apps or they will remove them from appstore in 30 days. I think this is a good thing cause most of old games and apps are dead and not even working on new phones. Also... I don't know if this is connected... but my free games are getting bigger downloads than usual.

Hi Roman,

yes I agree with you regarding old apps! But our concern was with approving new slots apps in these days. We have a few puzzle games and updates are approved in less than 24h. That is very good by Apple. But we have heard, that Apple makes it too difficult or not possible to go through process and approve new slots games.

well... I think that they stopped approving "fart" apps and cheap flappy bird clones. Like Martin said...

I don't have any slots in my account, but I have several platformer and runner games with >10 versions each and now Apple rejects every new version of that codes. I can not even make update to them, because Apple rejects them as spam.
So I suppose with slots, things are much harder and if you have bought code, then it is quite big risk to get reject.
If you have written by yourself slots code, then I bet it will pass Apple review, but anyway there is so much issues you can face with slots - copyright and keywords in title and so on... but without keywords in title nobody will find your slots as you know...

@Supercode

Thank you for your answer. It is what we have heard and wasn't sure if it is just rumor or actual thing. We have bought template so we are in big risk to be rejected. Game is not ready yet, but as soon as I will have new info I will share here.

Not really a rumor, no more templates. Depending what you bought.

The App Store Review guidelines: “apps created from a commercialized template or app generation service will be rejected”

Here are the new guidelines, you can search for the word "template" if you dont want to read the whole thing:
