Hey guys,

I am using the latest version of the AppLovin plugin (downloaded today) and just opened the project XCode and I am having a lot of ARC related problems.

If I disabled 'automatic reference count' in XCode, then everything works fine.

I'd prefer to use ARC, of course. I am using Unity3d 5.1

So, do you guys know if AppLovin has not yet migrated to ARC and if there is any way to use AppLovin and ARC?

Thanks

Go to "Build Phases" in your project settings and add the "-fno-objc-arc" flags to the following files under the Compile Sources section:

  • ALAdDelegateWrapper.m
  • ALInterstitialCache.m
  • ALManagedLoadDelegate.m
  • AppLovinUnity.mm

This informs Xcode to not use ARC on these files and instead let them manage their resources manually.

No, after every change in Unity you need to compile into Xcode again.

But it takes 1 second to do this.

1. Press enter

2. Press ctrl+v
