There are tons of sites and videos about aso, seo type stuff, most of them say the same old catch phrases. What I've found that has helped me has been to:

Cross-promote between your apps.
Be careful not to violate any App Store guideline (keyword stuffing, etc.)
Don't buy reviews! This has nothing but negative effect. Review exchanges are almost as bad, unless it's just your friends.
Some of your apps you think would do well may not, and some may do better, just try and experiment.
Original apps can be very good if you use social media and get attention from the indie crowd or popular gamers.
Find the small niche apps or make a better version of a popular app, but do it quick if it's a popular app.
If you find one of your apps is doing better than usual downloads, and it has decent user retention, it could be worth spending money to advertise it.

Your welcome. I'm not sure there is a step by step guide, it would probably be different for each developer's situation anyways. Can you give us more info on your situation? What ASO you've tried, and any you don't understand yet maybe?

Im actualy trying to write ASO description for google play store, i can find competitors and find their keyword, i can make a table with keywords for my own game, and i can also get best of them from keyword tool, but i can't find out how to properly use them for my description. With all my descriptions i cant find my app in search.

For example i have 5 main keywords : word_01 (the best which i use in the app name), word_02 (may be used for name too), word_03 (worse than 02 and 01 but steel ok for search and difficulty), word_04 and 05 .

How can i write all this to name, short desc and full desc ? )) how many times i need write 01, 02 or othes to find my app in store using 01 or my other words?

There's really no simple guideline, like how many times to repeat the keywords anymore. I think the app stores algorithyms change those types of things often. You say you can't find your app with search words? It's more complicated than it used to be, not just because there are so many apps competeing for those words but, I think the algorithyms also are a lot smarter. You may need to develope your brand more, and that could take time. In some cases like less crowded words you may be able to rank for, you could focus on some of these.

APP title
We now know, the title of an app is one of the most important factors in search ranking. Let’s consider what you have to keep in mind when you ar about to create an app title for your app in Google Play Store.

  • The title should be unique and creative, yet clear and short.
  • Make sure it contains one to three of the most relevant keywords.
  • Make sure to stay focused and to not stuff all your keywords into the title.
  • Keep your app name readable for the users.
  • Make sure the title represents the main message and brand name of your app.

Note: Consider, that long app titles may get truncated on smaller devices. Furthermore, there is a character limitation for app titles on Google Play Store.

The anatomy of a perfect app title.

  • Clear and unique
  • Tells what the app is about
  • Within 30* characters limit
  • Include brand/app name
  • Represents main message of app

App description

The Google Play description, or more specifically, the full description is the primary field used by Google to determine keyword rankings for an app.

In Google Play, the app description is split into two fields:

  • Short Description, an limited 80 characters preview field and
  • the Full Description field, giving you space for an up to 4000 characters long app description

In the short description, not only should you try and make sure you enter the most vital keywords at least one, you should be even more concerned with grabbing the reader’s attention.

About the Full Description, with 4,000 characters to work with, about 600 words, publishers have ample space to introduce or further expand on primary and secondary features and benefits.

Coverage of relevant keywords and phrases is the main goal in drafting an optimized app description for Google Play. Add your target keyword 3-4 times in the description. Do remember that first 167 character of your app description becomes the Meta description for search engine.

Please don't dig up old posts to spam us with basic aso tips everyone knows. Your just trying to promote your Reviewappforme site which we've banned you before for spamming this site.

Thanks for suggestions, but i have to add that all this short and clean title are good fir brending but not for aso, i got something while reading all this articles.. All keywords must be relevant, if you want combinations for google play search with your main targeted keywords use them in first 167 symbols, keyword in title can up your app to +10 positions in search, words repeatin is something strange things 3-4 times is good but 10-15 sometimes better but sometimes you can be not ranked for this keyword or combination. And one more - we need to create aso core for meta data
