Hello, I started with game development in Unity about a month ago and I made my first game, Tic Tac Triangle https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Buregdzinica.TicTacTriangle . It took me about 2 days to make it work, but because of design lets say it took me about a week to make this game. Everyone who played my game gave me a positive feedback.
My first game is published 2 weeks ago and I can tell you that number of downloads is very low and I don't like it. It made me realize how much important is the marketing for apps and games.  Capture.PNG In game I only have admob. It makes about 0.00-0.05e a day. I realize I can't expect a lot from it because of downloads, and I'm ok with that. I didn't expect earning any money in first year of game development.
Are there any suggestions on how to increase number of downloads. I did some ASO, which I learnt from Matins videos, I changed screenshots... One thing I didn't test is changing an icon. So, any suggestions are helpful and let me get your feedback on my app.

Buregdzinica...now Im so hungry [smile] You wont make any money with Admob alone, try mixing it up with Chartboost and some other networks.

Make a Facebook page and join some groups, post daily. Should give you a boost when you spread the word.

Hahhaa where are you from? [biggrin] Ok tnx for tips, I will focus on monetizing in future, but now my goal is to learn about game development and to try to get as much downloads as possible. Huge number of people which download my game gave me a really good feedback and reviews, which makes me so happy. But I'm trying to spread out my game.. Tnx for respond [thumb]

So, it has been a month from publishing my first android game. I am not quite satisfied with number of downloads, but I knew I can't expect insane amount of it. Here is my statistic about downloada from google play store.

I tried contacting some review blogs and stuff like that, but it didn't help. The best way for me for getting downloads were social networks and forums. I tried to advertise my game on them until the August 10th, from that moment I just let game to see how many downloads could it get without marketing. Turns out it has been getting on average about 1-3 downloads.

At the end let's talk about monetizing the game. I only used admob banners for this game, and I didn't care a lot about monetizing. So the stats are really lame.

My plan now is to change some background and theme of the game, change icon and update screenshots. I am going to insert bot difficulties. And I will insert some charboost between games, so I start improving my monetization. When I do my update I will try to advertise a bit Tic Tac Triangle Glow.
