We all know Chartboost revenue has dropped dramatically in the first quarter of the year, even in the second quarter of the year Chartboost revenue has been low with quite odd spikes in revenue graph.. BUT did Chartboost revenue increased back to how it was, or at least it's increased?

I'm asking this because I've noticed in the past 2 maybe 3 weeks, that my revenue has been kept at a normal level without huge spikes ranging between 16-35$ a day. Which is good refering to the fact that before I was having spikes like one day 43$ next day 3.2$ and unexplainable revenue spikes like this.

So I'm asking you again? Did Chartboost came back from the dead?

Hey all, my first post here [wink]

I've noticed big spikes in iOS games (like 32$ a day from one game 77 installs lol , next day 4$ etc), but for android its pretty stable.

I think that the biggest problem with chartboost right now, is that their ad inventory is not diversified and interesting enough for players.

I like looking at these campaign csv reports and large portion of ads are RPG and other fantasy strategy games.
IR and eCPMs for some of these games are just horrible [tongue] I've actually blocked a few of these [tongue]
I hope they will put some better ads in future, because overall it's very good ad network [smile]
And I will stick to them for sure [wink]

Maybe making fantasy, knights & dragons related games in future may be a good idea? lol [biggrin]

Hi, mmgames and welcome to the community!
Thanks for the answer. Yes optimizing the campaigns has an impact of revenue growth if it's done well. I've had a "Chartboost expert" which I found on Fiver, done some optimiziation for me and didn't turned out well. Now I've turned back to the standard optimization with 4 campaings with CPI filter and it lookds like it helped a bit. I also heard that optimization should be done on a weekly basis, but I don't really have time for it.

Any other opinions? Did you've noticed Chartboost revenue growth in the last 3 - 4 weeks?

Hey guys. I think it's also because chartboost is showing way way too many casino based ads recently. Seriously, almost every ad I see from chartboost now is a slots game ad. It's a big problem because slot games / casino games dont get a lot of installs. I'm working on chartboost optimisation recently and I'll be doing a video on it once I get some definite tips for the community. One thing I need to try is just to target casual games maybe. This way casino games and rpg games would be blocked. I'll keep you updated.

Hey Authwobe, hope you're having a good week there [smile]
Yeah I'm aiming to get one done soon once I have some more clear results. I still need to do further testing on blocking certain categories to see if that helps. I'll give it a try today and follow up with the forum asap.
