Hello and a nice day to you guys [smile]

I think that many users will try to avoid the ads in my games thought a simple "trick", they will turn the internet connection off, so no ads will be shown and they dont have to watch the interstitials. (atleast a lot of my friends do this when playing games with ads)

So im just writing a simple function that gets the state of the internet connection.
If the internet is turned off for more then 3 seconds, it just shows a screen with the text "Error, the internet connection is lost, re-establish it to continue" and a uselsess refresh button under it (its usless because the game will continue instandly if internet is connected again^^)

Do you guys think that this will be againist any of the google policies or the apple/amazon policies ?

I don't think it's against any policies, but it will make your users angry. Another thing you could try is let them play the game, but show your own house ads whenever their internet connection is off. You would have to come up with your own built in solution for it to work (not use ad-network's house ads). But it's as easy as including a few interstitial graphics with your .apk and display them instead of ad when the internet connection is off.

Yep XdebugX is right, don't try to do such poor thing. If your game does not have multiplayer or leaderboards/events do not require the user to stay online, this could affect your downloads and rating. Asking the user to remain online just for you to show the ads it's not professional. And I'm telling you, maybe your friends turn internet off, but not a lot of people know that, and even if they do, let them do it, it's still better for you that them will play the game. And just for the record their are big pulbishers like Ketchapp who are monetizing though ads and they don't have offline ads, so just keep it simple and all will be good. Don't try to steal impressions, if your game is good users will come. And most of them don't bother turning the internet off..
