Hi, 
so I've got my first game on Google Play, which got quite popular in my country, beacuse it is based around a well known virus video here.

So I'm getting (for me) fantastic datas is Chartboost,
Chartboost.jpg 
but my revenue is extremely low, as you can see.

I'm guessing it's beacuse of my country.
Does anyone had the same problems?
Any idea? Chartboost doesn't seem to answer :/

Hello Kilvin,

congrats on submiting your first game on Google Play, keep up the good work.
You really have an impressive bootups number, but you'll also have abnormally low delivered impressions, this may be because chartboost has a limited ad campaign and serving a limited number of ads in your country (what country btw?).
How often do you show an interstitial ad in your game? and did you modified anything in your campaign setup (like filter the CPI or CPC and set up big values)?

Thanks, I'm living in Hungary.
At this moment I'm showing ads 80% chance after he wins a round and 40% after he looses one and I'm also showing at "Back To Menu" and "Exit Game" options.

I had the well known campaign system, but I disabled the 2 Highest ones to get lighter games also.

You can be right with limited ads, most of the time I couldn't get ads from them(I have a built in system for checking if I can get ads).
And even if I install a game from an add, it doesn't really recognizes it at all.

What do you recommend? Changing add company?

Not at all, Chartboost is one of the big players  out there and you will wanna stick with them. I will create a single campaign a basic one, no changes don't limit nothing, just let it roll. make sure your ads are showing properly wait 2 or 3 days, see if any improvements. Don't install games from ads on the device you've tested, you may get banned from chartboost. Ask a friend from US to download and install your game and install a game from ads and see if you get any revenue. If not, send an email to Chartboost, they are really nice guys with a very good Customer care service. Try Admob banners and interstitial too, Google Play is not making so much with Chartboost. iOS is very good on Chartboost, consider porting your game to iOS/ and or develop on iOS too.
Again I'm saying, your bootups are amazing, your impressions rate.. not so much. Try integrate the Chartboost's More free games section in your game and also create a publishing campaign and populate the section with advertisers apps.

Yes I had a good experience with chartboost's support but this time they didn't replied to this, maybe I'll send a mail again.
I created a new campaign, totaly blank, but I think I'm gona try and implement applovin also. Maybe they support my country better. [smile]

I suggest you try Google's Admob banners and interstitials, you will get more revenue from there at this number of bootups. Applovin is great too, I've saw great numbers with them, but mainly on iOS Games, i have it in some of my games, it brings me like 150$ a month for 25k+ impressions and 2.3k clicks (on IOS, keep in mind)

Sadly I'm banned from Admob still don't know why. So I should find an another way.

How do people get banned on Admob? hope I never will be...I'm hearing stories cause of the CTR, you want to keep it under 1% as much as possible, I get around 20k per day and 100 clicks, that is pretty safe CTR.

Yes, there has been a significant drop in chartboost all around & the main theory is that they have lost a big advertiser. But YES, There has been a noticable drop.

2- ADMOB

Well, its not all gloom and doom even if you do get banned! I had mine re-activated last august, check out a post I made about it:

Although I do believe there is a time limit for them to review the case.

Apploving & Unity Ads are doing pretty well recently, you could check them out, if you have not already.

I agree with NKY-Games, maybe try Apploving or Unity Ads? The amount of bootups you have is amazing, but the amount you're earning is terrible.

If your game is based on a viral video you need to make changes quickly, because the hype might die off soon. So act quickly to make some money out of this.

I had a conversation with Chartboost, and they sad that sadly my country is not the most famous one in terms of adds. There is not too much add available for me and most of them pay really low.

The guy I spoke to made a test install for me form The US and I got 1.2$ not like in Hungary (~0.35$)
And I tried Applovin also, they only had ONE game for me again and again for about 10 times then they also ran out of adds, so I'm guessing Unity Ads wouldn't be different also.

So I guess it's a dead line, it's fine it's just a hobby for me so I not gonna starve cause of this [smile]
The moral of the story is that I should stick to international apps [tongue]

Or you could ask someone with a valid admob account, to advertise for you.

I'd rather try to ask someone to apply my game to IOS, I have no money for their subscibtion fee now, but if someone is willing to apply my game to his account, I'm into it [smile]

Nothing fancy as I sad it's based on a viral video, where a chubby boy walks on a street somewhere in a village, and yelling the name of a Old Woman called "Bözsi Néni" she probably ordered the cock and the hen in his hands or something. And probably he was fucked up, no one comes out of the house so he gets angrier. [tongue]

So it's probably  a viral  thing that will drop and than disappear over 3 weeks or so. I don't know if it worth the time porting it to iOS or if it will get downloaded on iOS that much too. 
If you decide, you can make an update on the Android version, integrate Admob banners and interstitials, linked to my active account, and i could provide you reports and revenue based on a negociation.

I think I'll skip the admob part I'm already working on a different game, NOT based on local stuff [tongue] But as I sad I'm intersted porting this version to IOS, I've got many requests and with Unity it's not to hard I guess.
