Hello,
I have a quick question regarding google play and strikes. Months back an app I published was suspended from google play due to its name. Another app I published yesterday was rejected due to an update in which I integrated ads. The ads were gambling ads. I switched it so now the gambling ads are not displayed. So my question is how can I tell if my google play account is in good standing. I know that the ad that got suspended is most likely a strike however what about the update that was rejected. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just a simple advice.... make a new Google play developer account. Your current account is not in good standing. You published 2 apps that got rejected/suspended. Next time you will violate their terms...Google will suspend your account. Also, spread your risk. Publish your apps on alternative markets like ios appstore, amazon appstore, getjar, yandex, opera etc.

Thanks I really appreciate it. Okay two more questions.

First Question: I am pretty sure I got a strike on that app due to ads having gambling ads. So I went on chartboost and unchecked that category. However for my other apps I have never done that. Should I go and switch them so they do not display gambling ads.

Second question: Is Amazon actually profitable I have only ever released two apps there and they did not do so well.

Thanks again.

I am using Chartboost ads and I didn't unchecked any category and still Google Play didn't suspend any of my games for gambling ads.

Amazon is the 3rd largest app market i think... I don't make a lot of money there... few $ per day, but Martin gets a lot of downloads and money on Amazon. So... with good ASO you can make money there.

Roman thank you for your advice I greatly appreciate it. I just found this from Google. It says that an app rejection does not count against your account. However does it count as a strike Do you find this to be true.

Google suspended my first account around a year ago. I got 3 strikes in 1 hour and they suspended my developer after that. They also started to send me msgs that they are not serving ads to my games on Admob.
I learned that the safest thing to do is to use multiple developer accounts, to use multiple ad providing companies like Chartboost, Applovin, Amazon Ads, Iad, Heyzap... and to post your games to all alternative markets you can find.

soo... to sum up... Don't trust Google! =)

Hi Roman! I have come to the same conclusion and want/plan to do the same!  Can you clarify what precautions you take to avoid google "noticing" that you are using several accounts, and overall how you do it? Thanks in advance!

Probably multiple IPs would be enough(and you could just erase browser history and temp files).... but I like to be 100% sure that my account won't get deleted. Also.... don't use Chrome....use Firefox for browsing.(on PC)
