Hello again guys,

I'm having a question regarding Chartboost's revenue for Google Play Games, it seems that for me, even though I'm generating almost a decent traffic within my android games, the revenue is as low as the number of rich people in Kenya. I'm getting little to no revenue with Chartboost on Android, I have a bad feeling I'm doing something wrong or all the users who download my games are ignoring the ads I'm showing, which is strange because the majority of the traffic received is from the US.

Those any of you guys encounter the same issue?

I've posted some screenshots from my Google Play traffic including revenue, bootups, impressions, is this normal?
I know is not much traffic and not so much impressions delivered, but still few cents or 3 4 dolars in a good day to no revenue at all in majority of the days...it's frustrating.

I'm having almost 50k (600-700 a day)  downloads from February when I started the account and a little over 66$ in revenue.

Check the attachments for more details.

Correct, this is an ongoing issue at the moment.
Try another ad network.
Applovin or Unity Ads are a good options if you have decent downloads.
Good luck.

How good are unity ads, if everyone is taking it as an option?

Well... people say that ecpm and fillrate is good, but payment is a little bit weird since you have to ask for your money(they don't have automated payment system)...

Unity ads are pretty new in the industry in my opinion i don't know how many advertisers, and I bet they only have ads displayed in the Top Grossing countries la USA. I'm still hoping that Chartboost will come up again, until then i'm relaying on Applovin and Admob.
I like Chartboost a lot, hope they won't end ugly

Well... I live in Slovenia... I get a lot of reward videos from Unity ads and I never got a reward video from Chartboost. UnityAds will be popular cause of Unity3d...

And I know Chartboost revenue dropped for all of us from January, but still 66$ with Chartboost and with over 50k+ downloads, it looks like a problem, it can't be that bad...

So, if you don't build with unity, you cannot integrate Unity Ads?

Yeah your revenue is crazily low, I don't think the Chartboost revenue drop off is all that's happening there. With my iOS games I get about $10 ECPM, but even if you were only making about $2 ECPM you would have earned about ~$200 in that period. (I can't see your total impressions, but I'm guessing from your download numbers)

What's your audience like? Is it largely US/Europe?

I've noticed that your getting about as many impressions as you are boot ups? Even though ECPM seems to be your main revenue problem, you might want to increase the number of times your showing your ads.

Also, are you running admob banner ads on your Google Play game? What kind of ECPM are they getting if so?

On iOS everything seems to be alright (minus the fact that Chartboost revenue has been gone downway, for all of us) the same apps are on Google Play too(but on iOS it is displayed at launch too, on android it doesn't.

Most of the downloads are from US/Europe yes.
I'm running both banner and interstitial ads in all of my android/iOS apps and i'm getting around 0.8-0.9$ ecpm and displaying around 10k impressions a day on Android and 10k on iOS generating me from 9 to 18$ a day.

I would send an email to Chartboost support and ask them why your Google Play ECPM is so low - despite having a good quality audience. They've always been really helpful when I've spoken with them. There might be some underlying issue that we just aren't aware of.
