Hey guys

I just recently bought me an Ipad mini 2.

First i only was thinking that i gonna use it only for mobile development, but i really underestimate the power of mobile gaming the last years.

Mobile games on an tablet are so mutch more fun to play.

4 real i just got the new FIFA 16 from the Appstore and it feels like i having a playstation 3 in my hands^^
Also World of Tanks blitz looks like weeks of fun for me [smile]

I just wanted to buy a new computer for gaming but i think i gonna stick with IPAD + watching TV for chilling while recovering from work + game development because for me its not only casual fun like on the phone but you can have real long term depth on an tablet game.

How are your toughts on tablets, do you think they gonna be the future of mobile gaming ? (games like flappy bird still gonna rule the phone market but i think on tablets it gonna go more into like story games etc.)

I have to agree with you. I bough iPad mini retina for game dev some time ago and it's great for playing games, I've finished Fahrenheit on it and I waste to much time on hearthstone. I borrowed xbox360 and plugged it into my projector, but I barely play it. It's just to easy to sit on a couch and play on a tablet. But I don't think it will replace gaming on pc/consoles for hardcore gamers.

Me too. I think its just the bigger screen experience that i enjoy more. I was trying to play Geometry Wars 3 on an iphone 5S, it just wasn't very good. For me big screen + controller is the best gaming experience so far. Or controller + VR.
