Hello everyone! I'm back in game development after a 2 year break doing app development.

Recently, I just launched a new game on the Play store and have a few questions I hope the great people here can answer. I see that Martin is going strong and BestGamesStudios is still here 😉

I've integrated Admob, Vungle, AdColony, Chartboost, and Unity Ads into my game.
My friend downloaded my game and installed an app from an Vungle ad. However, I only earned 40 cents. The reason this is problematic is because I'm paying over $2 for US installs. How is it that I only earn 40 cents for a US install if I need to pay over $2 for one?

Next, I've show a few hundred video views already but haven't earned anything really. It seems that Admob, AdColony, and Chartboost don't pay for video views at all. Vungle and Unity Ads only pay for completed views? Is that correct? Are there any ad networks that guarantee a payment per video view? I know that I have to pay at least 1 cent per video view so why am I not getting paid 1 cent for showing a video? If I was getting paid 1 cent, I'd have a few dollars already instead of nothing.

Finally, any ideas how I can only pay 40 cents (or 50 since the ad networks charge a commission) for an install? I can make my business model work if the cost per install is that low.

Thank you and I'm glad to be back!

Spent $23 dollars on an AppLovin campaign. No installs [frown]
I'm paying a ridiculous $8.16 eCPM for static interstitial ads. How can I get paid $8.16 for showing static interstitials? How can I reduce the eCPM?
