ok, i moved onto testing ChartBoost and AppLovIn Unity plugin today, but both of their builds fail to show any ads at all.

i hav followed CB instruction on: https://answers.chartboost.com/hc/en-us/articles/200780379
and build out their sample scene just for testing. no ads shown. then i print out one of the fail2loadAds event error, which says Internal(the error) at position default. i also tried again when i dont hav network enabled, it returned : InternetUnavailable(or something like that) at position default
just what da hec does Internal means?

anyone here followed their site instruction 2 set up their SDK in Unity? does anyone know what this mean?

somehow i suspect this error has sth 2 do with my network(my net service is also under the suppression of the great chinese local demoestic network/netwall)

so, can someone install my sample CB apk and confirm that 4 me, plz? if it wasnt the network, why m i not seeing any ads(BTW, i hav set my app to be test app in the dashboard)
zip CBtest_A.zip

as to my applovin Unity trial, here is what i did as instructed in applovin myaccount doc section(plz do alarm me if i miss anything):
first i import the Upack into my blank proj;
then i copy the googleplayservice_lib folder into the android folder;
then i modified the manifest.xml (replace "Your_Package_Name" with my bundle identifier, and pasted in my SDK key)
then i addin a custom script to the scene camera

using UnityEngine;

//[ExecuteInEditMode]
public class applovinTestScript : MonoBehaviour
{

    private bool hasInitialized = false;

    // Use this for initialization
    void Start ()
    {
        AppLovin.InitializeSdk();
        AppLovin.PreloadInterstitial();
    }

    // Update is called once per frame
    void Update ()
    {
        if (!hasInitialized)
        {
            AppLovin.InitializeSdk();
            AppLovin.PreloadInterstitial();
            hasInitialized = true;
        }
    }

    void OnGUI()
    {
        if (GUI.Button(new Rect(Screen.width/2-50, Screen.height/2-50+125, 100, 100), "Show Ad"))
        {
            AppLovin.ShowAd();
        }

        if (GUI.Button(new Rect(Screen.width / 2 - 50, Screen.height / 2 - 50, 100, 100), "Show Interstitial"))
        {
            AppLovin.ShowInterstitial();
        }

        if (GUI.Button(new Rect(Screen.width / 2 - 50, Screen.height / 2 - 50 - 125, 100, 100), "Show Rewarded Interstitial"))
        {
            AppLovin.ShowRewardedInterstitial();
        }
    }
}

anyone see anything wrong with my attempt of implemetation above? if so, plz yell out.

then i build the apk. but no ads shown

again, can someone install my applovin sample apk and test it 4 me, plz?
zip applovinTest000.zip
thx in advance

I dont know if you know, but AppLovin takes a good, 20-30 seconds to initialize, so if your calling the ad before that time, it will not show. i would also try and remove all of your update function, you are already calling that on startup.

recap for appLovin:

-remove update
-wait 30 seconds (or implement a counter)
-then call the ad.

Good luck!

will do, man. thx 4 ur reply

i remember i hav seen some line like "make sure to initialise the applovin SDK after the game started" somewhere in their instruction, so the update call was added to safeguard if they did mean initialise the SDK after the Start()

hey guys.
For us applovin only appears when we have a good internet connection, and sometimes it still doesn't appear. It depends on the ad inventory available too. I think most advertisers on applovin don't target China and so we have to connect to the US / UK internet to see an ad.
