Hey Ensy, nice video thanks for the post. First time I've seen a blender video I think, never used it before.
Let us know if you do a video of the character in-game, it'll be good to see.

Thank Martin for reply soon as i implement character in game for couple days but first i need to finish jump,double jump and slide animation then i will record video and post on forum nice community there.

For me i've only done 3D animation before, it's interesting to see how you do it.

i'm working little bit on oy world this is progress so far,  style i'm using is cartoon low poly

Hey there,

Nice to see someone who also has a 3D background, these days most of the people only know one thing (don't want to offend someone!).

I've had a few years of animating behind me now, and its a real b*tch tbh lol. I still animate everything by hand, because I can't afford a motion capturing studio [tongue]

One small tip: In the running animation, the root bone (the one where your legs and spine meet) is static, if you animate it up and down it would be much more realistic. If you look closely, running is actually a sequence of small jumps, so the whole body has to move in the Y position.

I always watch vids of real animals or people or something close to that for fiction NPCs to capture and translate the motion. Most of the time I'm walking in slow motion around my desk to get a better feeling. (Thats the point my mom thought I was getting nuts lol).

hey Nick thank you for reply,
yes i started with 3d-modeling and animation back in 2008 when i first get blender and i learn litle bit of 3ds max and maya but im back to blender because blender is great tool + its free, and i was get unity in 2009 but in that time i was real noob ,but never released any game only collaborating with others  and i realize to start with mobile games. Thanks for advice more of dev process is coming greetings by Ensy

it's been so long after i post there. I port Oy boy for pc

there is some results
