Almost all folks here are in the mobile games business. So my question is, has anyone gone through and registered a company for the same?

1) In India, there is something known as Single Person Company and cost of registration is $15. But I think it would be better to register a LLC or LTD company. Your thoughts on what would you prefer....

2) The bottleneck I feel is technology changes every 3-5 years so if don't keep pace with tech and find ways to generate money with time, the company would sink faster because of the costs of running the company itself. Specially the time one the next generation of tech is yet to go mainstream and older tech is not reaping profit, for e.g. VR/IoT is not yet mainstream and mobile tech is going cheap every day. How can one tackle this risk...

Wanted to know your thoughts?

in most cases (if you just work for yourself/no employees) it is better to go with the sole enterprenur/single person company/sole proprietor (whatever it is called in a given country) as the taxes are usually less, and the actual "bureaucratic maintenance" is also simpler - I looked into registering an LLC/LTD, and there you have to do many more things in terms of documents/going to the tax inspectorate/etc. Btw just out of curiosity, does India have a service to do the taxes online? Ukraine is just starting with this.

thanks for your thoughts on this...

yes in India taxes for companies is online but needs to go long way to make the process simple.
so probably first I'll go with single person company and later after having got enough exposure to legalities of running company, I'll go with LLC/LTD
