Well first off all i would like to say hi to all, i wanna share some chartboost stats after the first month of development,i got 3games on GP and Amazon, so 6 games in the stats. Well i dont know the stats are not so well but i just starded and i know the games are maybe not the best but i look to improve. The downloads are bad and so are the installs on chartboost, so i hope it will get better. This Month i should get another one on GP but Amazon is really bad  i got only 4 downloads on saveME on GP 169 so i dont know why this is so? Well next month all be back with some more stats.

Well i use facebook, Twitter, Google+.....and i activated some ads on facebook for some 6E a day and i see there are engagements from people but downloads not so. The just like the ads! Well i hope it will get better when i go too apple store.

You got 5 stars and g+. Why do u think that this is a good result? i just read about that crossy road game they made 6mil in 90 days with video ads? how is that posible? and that was there first game! i just dont get it i got video rewards but you get 0.01 or at least 0.03 for a view that is to low.

Here are some Google Play stats after 2Months we struggling still with downloads and revenue is bad. We realised on the 1.july COLORS and that is the best game so far in terms of downloads and feedback!

Here are some Chartboost stats that is Google Play and Amazon combined, we got only 30downloads on Amazon even as the games are nice and what search terms goes on visible! So hope you can compare your stats with this if you a beginner like us and see how your doing! We have a goal for now to earn 1$/day. And its hard really, COLORS having good reviews its an endless game and having only ads on game over screen an rewarded video option, the same is with beSMART iq70 rewarded videos are bad you get only one cent and i think they not so profitable. I do a lot of research how other sucessful games monetize and im not able to figur it out how some games making money? Lets take a sample on Crosy Road. You can read on the Chartboost blog that this game made 9mil$ on video ads in  the first 6Months. Well i dont believe that, it shorley make some money but i dont believe that it made so much. When you start this game and play it you dont even get ads in it i dont get it how does this people monetize??? And i think that Google Play is pretty junky. This month we get our stuff on the App Store and i hope that the stats get better. Just wanna mention Flite and Panda dash from risinghighapps the get 6mil downloads on the app store, and now on google play they get barly 500 in 5 days combined! They get futured by apple and amazon but not by Google! Next month i bring some new stats. Cheers

You've got a really high number of ratings and reviews for the number of downloads you have. Did you buys some ratings? Or are you doing a lot of those review exchange forums and such? Just a warning, I've heard that buying reviews can actually hurt your apps and the number of downloads they get. Google can figure this type of stuff out pretty easily.

Hes got around 30 reviews per app, If you ask your friends and family to rate that would be around that number [smile] Thats nothing. I've seen games that barely work on Google Play having 100,000 reviews LOL like choose the flag games.

No i dont pay for reviews would not recommend to, i just use a lot exchange ratings and Colors did well with reviews without exchange forums.

Hi to all! Here i am again after another month, we managed finally to get to the App Store. Since 3 august  i think and i can tell you only that my experience with Apple is great the total opposite on google play! I got 3 times more in 10 days, what i earned on google play in 3 months. And we looking forward to develop games only for the app store with different monetizing tactics. My opinion that not only apple is greater, i think the players wanna give you something back if you give them something free to play and they install games from your ads. We got Terra Defense a 10 level game developed in 7days and it got 200 downloads.(nothing) but the game made 35$ in 2days with i think is not bad for a indie developer an on 200 downloads is good money for my opinion. We use only chartboost in our games and we use ads only on game over screens without any in game distraction.

Why you only use chartboost for ads ? you could still run a top or bottom admob-banner in your menu or on the game-over screens etc.
Users wouldnt mind about a banner in this areas but you could still earn some little extra money from it [wink]

Banner ads earns you not so much and this money can't replace a user experience without this ugly banner ads.

Hi to all we decided to make a little experiment. Our game Terra Defense on the App store made us 55$ in 2 days with just 245 downloads at that time. We earned all money just from chartboost installs and we use only chartboost. Development of the game was about one week so the money is quiet good for this number of downloads and it have only 10 levels. Now we decided to reskin the complete game screenshots, icon and add another 10 levels and try to go paid and see the results.  Here you can see old and below new screenshots all localized in all languages.6576.png

Ribso did u release this game to google play just as a comparison to the apple store. I would be curios to see how much more the apple store generates in revenue than the google play store

No i did not i i will not develop more games for google play since in croatia we can't activate google merchant acc and we can't sell apps. Butt free apps are not worth a try well counting my expirience. Revenue is very low compared to IOS (same Apps) And i don't wanna loose a chance to get featured by apple only cos i have a game on google play that brings me a dollar a week! And this exchanges will bring you nothing don't waste time with this.....the game should be viral and downloads ratings and erasing the game will bring you nothing. Im telling you this to save you time. Thanks

Risbogames, have you had a game on the Appstore for longer than a few weeks yet? Did you get a big drop in downloads after the first week? I've heard that you can get good downloads on the IOS Appstore, but they drop after the first week or "new period". What have you seen?

Hi XdebugX we are about a Month now on the app store and yes you are right Terra Defense was 2 days in most stores in the top 20-30 but then dropped massive thats because many people upload apps now and you need to have a good product to get many downloads and stay in a good position on the store.

Just wanna update this post the game is now a week in paid downloads=0! I think this will be a big zero we plan to have it a Month or so in paid.

Hi, Im also from Croatia, just open a bank account in a country that has a paid dev program and add it to your merchant account or set up "IAPs" so the user gets free coins after watching a video ad or by installing a another game so you pretty much get the same money as you would from a real IAP.

Well i know that butt google play is in my eyes junk store and a big mess! And i won't give anything from my games for 0.01$ its easy to say if you got 10mil users like angry birds or coc but to me it means nothing!

Our ARPU is $0.04/day on iOS and $0.03 on Google Play from the same game. We don't like to leave the money on the table. [wink]

Hi developers! Here are some stats for the past month nothing special happend we struggle hard to get downloads and paid strategy did worked well for us on IOS. I got no downloads on Terra Defense on IOS for a fee of 0.99$ changed to free and we earned 30$ and then it dropped massive. We have downloads and bootups but no installs from ads. Cube Fantasy World made 6 sales for a dollar and it was quiet high in all stores when it came out after 3 days it dropped massive. I changed thes both games to free with admob and chartboost but we getting no installs. Im a lil dissapointed cos we see that we have bootups but no installs. I think i will try to promote my games with chartboost ads. I made 3 installs from a iphone6 and i earned 5$ from this 3 installs. i wonder could i make from serval devices with different acc such things it could bring in some money. Also i noticed that publishers on chartboost targeting newer android devices. same game on samsung s3 and s5 on s3 no ads bearly one or two. samsung s5 full of ads and interestials. that is for ad mob and chartboost. 
So this is it for now if you guys have any suggestions on how i could improve revenue any help would be great.
