Hey guys

At the moment i releasing my IOS apps kinda "blind" wich means if they work on an android device i just bulid them to xcode and upload them to the app store.

The problem now is that i gonna bulid some apps wich use external data and internet etc. so i really would feel saver if i could test the functionality of the app bevore uploading it.

1. Is there any way how i can emulate like an real iphone ? I already googled it, read about it and somehow there are many people who say that if you bulid xcode from unity the emulators wont work exactly like in the real phone ?

2. If its impossible to emulate on a computer, then i think about buying a used Iphone/Ipad (i tend to an Ipad because i already got an android phone), so which should i try to get ? is the first Ipad still capable of testing ? (i dont need high fps for playing, just for functionality checks)

Hello! A used iPad sounds good (as long as it's not the first one) - a gen 2 or 3 should do just fine!

Isnt the Xcode simulator "like a real phone". I would think that any other emulator cant be as good as the official Apple emulator.

I use an Ipod Touch. They cost about $200 new, so you can probably find a good used one pretty cheap. They can connect to the Internet through wifi.
