hi guys.

about a year ago in January 2015 i had some events in my personal life that made me reconsider my profession and purpose in life.
after considering multiply possibilities i decided to teach myself game programming.
the decision was due to me been an independent worker, self employed, and i always believed that if I'm going to learn new skill then i must "see" and "know" how to generate income from it without working in a company.
in the start it was pretty hard specially the "where i should write the code" rules, i had hours spent on solving errors for writing code out side of methods and even classes [smile].
but suddenly it just happened and in some magical way it all made sense.
i started making some really small games and my dream was to make a multiplayer shooting game and a multiplayer tower defence game, i were a big fan of counter strike and warcraft3 tower defence mods. 
i realised that fps shooting game in mobile is to hard for the user to control and the game experience will never be similar to pc.

so in the past 4 months i worked on the shooting game that i dreamed to make, it took some time because i found a new job as a programmer in the middle and had much less time to work on the game.

but now its finished XD.

currently it have only death match mode and boss fight mode, in the future when the user population will increase i could add capture the flag and team death match modes.
and about that, what do you think? should i just build more bots for that modes or it it ok to just wait for more active users?
and i would really appreciate it if you guys can try it out and give me some feedback about it, good or bad.
and if there any thing you think i need to add or change i would really like to hear [smile]

Hey Guyhazi awesome game. I too am working towards making a game like that some day however I have been releasing smaller games as stepping stones. I clicked on your developer profile and saw that you had a game called Fair Frenzy which had a crazy amount of downloads. I was wondering if you released that game or if u re skinned and has it yielded you a decent profit?

the account the game is on isn't mine its an investor account, about the match 3 game there it made a big income but not from apple or google play, most of its revenue came from Facebook and yahoo, mostly from Facebook but it because it got featured on Facebook .

Cool! So it was published on google play only a few days ago and now has 100-500 downloads? This is very good indeed! Usually my game take a while to "warm up"

it had around 80 public testers when it was in beta. so i think thats add up to the sum,  according to google play console it got in the 9th 58 downloads that 51 of them arrived from my country probably because of spreading the word out on Facebook but those installed were other game developers that didn't made much game sessions as they are not the target "Crowd" that will play this game, yesterday the 10th there was a small shout campaign in instegram but i have no idea how many users arrived from there, and from which countries because i cannot trace even the clicks as there are no links in instegram but there were according to chartboost 95 installed from iOS - probably because its the first week boost thing and 54 from google play, there were total of 780 bootups and according to our top score server there were 900 games made.

it also have a small budget for advertising the problem is that i don't know when and how to spend it, currently I'm waiting for to see if the game will get some organic traffic and once there will be an average of 20 players online i can add some more modes in to the game, i can add them now but then the amount of online users will be spread out in 5 types of game mode and the chance of them playing together will decrease, there is no lobby to choose a game, its automatic matchup to keep things as less complicated as possible for the player.


maybe i should just make new bots for each mode like there are now for the death match and just upgrade the game without waiting for more players?
or i can make some kind of random game mode when the user press play and then he will not be able to decide which game mod to play?

and if any one have an advice on how to spend the advertising budget i will be glad to hear, i though of 250 players for iOS with bid of 0.5$ and same for android so its sums at 500 players and also 2k players 0.1$ bid for iOS and same for android.
the main goal is to rank better for search and not to return the investment.
do you think it could help? or maybe some thing else?
