Hi everyone,
I have an update ready for one of my games to add some social functions. It's using the facebook sdk to allow players to invite their friends and compete against them. I'm using the facebook scores api which requires the publish_actions permission, so I need to submit the app for review. Now I see when I start the submission process I need to include a privacy policy. I was wondering how all of you handle this? I must admit I get a little nervous when I have to deal with these kinds of documents. So what I'm wondering is how did you put this document together? Hire someone to write it? Or did you find some kind of template on the web? I guess what I'm looking for is the simplest solution that will still not get me in trouble [wink]

It's almost silly we have to get legal documents just to let our players compare scores.

for facebook, just do the same as I did with admob/chartboost but link to facebook's privacy policy

it doesn't need to be anything fancy / no lawyers needed [smile]

Hi.
Would you mind sharing what exactly are you using for Facebook social stuff?
I was wondering if I should include something like that in my future games instead of google play services, Game Center, etc.

Thanks bestgamesstudios, just what I was hoping to hear. Good idea linking to others!

Mzr: I use the Facebook SDK for Unity with no extra libraries or anything. Just import it from the asset store. Then watched a few tutorials on youtube on how to use it.
This guy is good at explaining it in a simple way:
