Unity ads has been around for some months. Compared with Chartboost or other

video ad network, do you think it's more profitable for your game? Or do you think Chartboost is better for you? Please share your opinion. [idea]

So on one of my games for 22,438 completed views on Unity Ads I got $354.55 so that's about 1.5 cents a completed view (That's on iOS). It would be interesting to know what people are getting on Chartboost.

Some days ago I found on the web a game developer saying he got ~$7-10 ecpm for rewarded video ads with Unity ads and that it has high fill rates.
He also mentioned that Chartboost has ~$3 ecpm for generic static interstitials, ~$5-8 ecpm for Direct Deal interstitials but it has low fill rates in non-English speaking countries. Unfortunately he didn't mention about Chartboost video ads, which is the main competitor to Unity Ads.
So is Unity Ads' pay rate based on the number of completed views (CPCV)?
However they say on the advertiser page https://unityads.unity3d.com/acquire that advertisers have to pay only for new installs(CPI).
But on the FAQ page https://unityads.unity3d.com/help/Frequently%20Asked%20Questions/faq they say, "Typically it takes 5000 impressions or more to determine the quality of the users you are sending. You will be getting revenue based on the quality your users and the impressions you are showing. Unity Ads generates revenue through generating views and traffic from your game, and you get paid on that." It looks weird to me. [confused]

UnityAds pay on a combination of installs, clicks and completed views - apparently they work out what fits your audience best and pay you based on that.

In the last 7 days on Unity Ads across both Google Play and iOS it's had an eCPM of $13.20 and a fill rate of 85.75%. It does seem to do a lot better on iOS than Google Play though. My audience is mainly American and European which might be why it has quite a high eCPM.

Is it an average ecpm for 7 days? Then I think it's a good stat. Congrats... [smile]
