Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had any experience developing apps for either a windows phone or a nook tablet. My question is are these markets less saturated and would they be easier to gain  foothold in. If anyone had any experience developing for either of these platforms and had any advice that would be awesome. Thanks
(Also does anyone know how much it would cost to publish apps to the windows phone store?)

Hey J53, hope you're doing well there today.
At the moment we've not released any games on Nook or Windows. But we're trying to get our game PLAYCADE distributed on the nook app store soon. I'm interested to see how this goes because we need to explore the other app stores and spread our risk. It could be easier to get a foot hold in these other stores but they are much smaller than google play / apple app store / amazon. Samsung seems to be the next biggest store in the west I believe, and also slideme.org. I plan to do a video on this soon and talk about our findings.
We need to get on the windows store as well but we've never built a windows version of our games. Its something we need to look in to soon. It will be a bigger task though because I don't know which ad network to use or how to do in-app purchases on windows. I also need to get hold of a windows device.

Has anyone on here published on the windows store? How did it go for you and were the downloads / revenue good?

Thanks for any advice all [smile]

I've published games on Windows store. The result is not impressed in my case. Meanwhile it looks like wasting time.
